Prominent entrepreneur Ram Buxani was laid to rest in Dubai on Wednesday, with hundreds of people paying their respects to the late businessman. Buxani passed away at the age of 83 in Dubai on July 8. The funeral was attended by friends, business associates, and family members, who had the opportunity to bid farewell to the illustrious entrepreneur. Noted personalities like MA Yusuff Ali and Indian Consul General Satish Sivan were among those present at the crematorium for his service.
Buxani arrived in the UAE in 1959 and went on to establish a business empire worth over Dh1 billion. Apart from being a successful entrepreneur, he was also known for his philanthropic work. He was involved in various organizations, including the India Club, Indian High School, and the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC). Attendees at the service remembered him as a kind and generous man who always greeted everyone with warmth and kindness.
Having started as an employee in ITL Cosmos Group, Buxani eventually became the chairman of the group and expanded its operations into various sectors. He played a significant role in the growth and success of the group.
