Deputy Emir of Riyadh Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting human prosperity and growth during the inauguration of the 4th annual Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF) in Riyadh. The event, held under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, aims to enhance international cooperation in addressing pressing issues in cyberspace. The forum brings together decision-makers and CEOs from various international organizations to discuss the theme of “Advancing Collective Action in Cyberspace.”

During his speech at the GCF, NCA Governor Eng. Majed Al-Mazyed emphasized the importance of cyberspace in the growth of economies, the prosperity of societies, and the security of individuals. He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s efforts to build platforms with an international dimension and launch pioneering global initiatives in various sectors related to cyberspace. The forum also hosted the first-ever Child Protection in Cyberspace (CPC) Global Summit, organized in collaboration with UN organizations and stakeholders from the private sector and academic institutions worldwide.

The CPC Global Summit aims to address key topics related to child protection in cyberspace and unify efforts to achieve maximum impact in safeguarding children online. The summit aligns with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s global initiative to raise awareness about the growing threats children face in the digital realm. The GCF continues to build on the objectives set by previous editions, focusing on themes such as cyber disparities, cyber behavior and social inclusion, the cyber economy, and leveraging emerging technologies for progress and innovation.

The GCF aims to create a safe and reliable cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity for people around the world. Participants with specialized international expertise are expected to contribute to the outcomes that align with global aspirations for a secure and promising cyber sector. The forum’s focus on advancing collective action in cyberspace highlights the need for international cooperation in addressing challenges and promoting a safe and inclusive digital environment for all individuals.

International cooperation and collaboration are key components of addressing pressing issues in cyberspace and ensuring the safety and security of individuals online. The GCF provides a platform for decision-makers and experts from various sectors to come together, share knowledge, and exchange ideas on how to enhance international cyber cooperation. By discussing themes such as cyber disparities, social inclusion, and technological innovation, the forum aims to promote a thriving and secure cyber economy that benefits all communities and countries.

In conclusion, the GCF serves as a vital platform for promoting international cooperation and addressing pressing issues in cyberspace. By bringing together decision-makers and experts from around the world, the forum aims to advance collective action in ensuring a safe and reliable digital environment for all individuals. With a focus on themes such as cyber behavior, social inclusion, and technological innovation, the GCF continues to build on the objectives set by previous editions and contribute to the global efforts in safeguarding children and promoting growth and prosperity in cyberspace.
