The State of Qatar recently chaired the 25th meeting of the ministerial committee responsible for monitoring the implementation of joint action decisions within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The meeting, held in Doha, was attended by the heads of delegations of the GCC countries, along with GCC Secretary-General HEJasem Mohamed Albudaiwi. Cabinet Secretary-General HE Hamad bin Ahmed Al Muhannadi, who chaired the meeting, highlighted the importance of strengthening and advancing joint Gulf cooperation, emphasizing that it is a top priority for Qatar.

During the meeting, HE Al Muhannadi underscored the vital role of the ministerial committee in overseeing the implementation of joint action decisions and stressed the significance of the topics on the agenda. HE GCC Secretary-General Albudaiwi commended the progress made by the Ministerial Committee in ensuring the implementation of the Supreme Councils resolutions, acknowledging the significant accomplishments made by the GCC in various areas of joint cooperation over the past four decades.

The Committee discussed various topics related to the follow-up on decisions issued by the Supreme Council, focusing on the issuance of legislative tools to support joint Gulf action. Decisions and recommendations were made on the topics discussed during the meeting, reflecting the commitment of the GCC countries to furthering cooperation and collaboration within the region. The meeting served as an important platform for GCC countries to address key issues and work towards achieving common goals.

The commitment of the State of Qatar to strengthening joint Gulf cooperation was evident in the discussions held during the ministerial committee meeting.
