Doha, Qatar: Qatar Creates, a movement focused on curating, celebrating, and promoting cultural activities in Qatar, has announced its continued partnership with F1 driver Pierre Gasly of the BWT Alpine F1 Team. This collaboration aims to unite the worlds of art and sport through exclusive helmet designs for three key races in the 2024 F1 season. In a new development, Qatar Creates is inviting artists worldwide to submit helmet designs for Gasly, offering them a chance to showcase their creativity on a global stage.

The previous collaboration featured custom-designed helmets by Qatari artists Shouq Al Mana and Alanoud Al Ghamdi. Alanoud’s helmet, inspired by Qatari desert flora, fauna, and national symbols, was auctioned for charity, with premium replicas available for purchase. Shouq’s helmet, featuring her artwork the Egal, was worn during qualifiers and exhibited at the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum. Qatar Creates is dedicated to bridging art and culture with sports, providing artists with unique opportunities to showcase their talents.

The partnership between Qatar Creates and Pierre Gasly signifies a groundbreaking fusion of artistic ingenuity and high-speed performance in Formula 1. Artists interested in participating in this project can submit their helmet designs by September 30, 2024, for the Mexico race, and by October 20, 2024, for the Qatar race. Submissions can be made through the provided link. This partnership between Qatar Creates and Pierre Gasly offers a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their creativity on an international stage, as well as highlights the growing intersection between art, culture, and sports.
