The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has recently announced the launch of the Eidiah ATM service in anticipation of Eid Al Adha, with the service set to start on Thursday, June 6, 2024. This unique service will be available at 10 different locations across Qatar, including popular shopping destinations such as Place Vendome, Mall of Qatar, and Doha Festival City. Users will be able to withdraw Qatari riyals in denominations of 5, 10, and 50-100 at these Eidiah ATMs.

The Eidiah ATM service is not only convenient for users but also aims to preserve Qatari culture and heritage by reviving the traditional practice of Eidi, which involves giving money or gifts to children during Eid celebrations. By introducing this service, the QCB is ensuring that this age-old tradition is upheld in a modern and efficient manner. The locations of the Eidiah ATMs have been carefully chosen to cater to a wide range of residents and visitors, making it easier for everyone to participate in this cultural practice.

Some of the Eidiah ATM locations include Al Wakrah Old Souq, Al Hazm Mall, West Walk, and Al Khor Mall, among others. These locations have been strategically selected to ensure accessibility and convenience for users across different parts of the country. The Eidiah ATM service will allow individuals to withdraw cash in small denominations, making it easier for them to distribute Eidi to their loved ones during the festive season.

The Qatari community has always placed a strong emphasis on preserving its cultural identity and traditions, and the introduction of the Eidiah ATM service is a testament to this commitment. By combining modern technology with traditional customs, the QCB is bridging the gap between the past and the present, ensuring that important practices such as Eidi continue to thrive in today’s fast-paced world. This innovative service is set to make the process of giving Eidi more convenient and efficient for everyone involved.

With the Eidiah ATM service, users will no longer have to worry about running out of cash or making last-minute trips to the bank during Eid celebrations. Instead, they can simply visit one of the convenient locations and withdraw the desired amount of money in small denominations, ensuring that they can fulfill their cultural obligations without any hassle. The QCB’s initiative is a step towards preserving the rich heritage of Qatar and ensuring that important traditions are passed down to future generations.

Overall, the Eidiah ATM service is a unique and innovative way to celebrate Eid Al Adha while also honoring the cultural practices that are important to the Qatari community. By providing a modern solution for giving Eidi, the QCB is making it easier for individuals to uphold this cherished tradition, ensuring that it remains a central part of Eid celebrations for years to come. With the convenience of the Eidiah ATM service, residents and visitors alike can participate in this age-old practice with ease, fostering a sense of unity and community spirit during the festive season.
