The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) in Doha, Qatar has announced an upgrade to the X-ray machines at three health centers: Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, and West Bay. This upgrade is set to begin on Sunday, September 15, 2024, and will take place over a three-month period. The PHCC’s biomedical team is committed to completing the installation and upgrade as quickly as possible to minimize any disruptions in services for patients and beneficiaries.

In order to ensure the safety of patients and the smooth operation of the health centers during the upgrade process, patients requiring radiology services at these centers will be redirected to other PHCC facilities. Qatari patients from Abu Baker Al Siddiq Health Center will be redirected to Muaither Health Center, while non-Qatari patients will be redirected to Al Rayyan Health Center. Patients from Gharrafat Al Rayyan Health Center will be redirected to either Madinat Khalifa or Umm Slal Health Centers, depending on their nationality. Additionally, Qatari patients from West Bay Health Center will be redirected to Al Sadd Health Center, with non-Qatari patients directed to Qatar University Health Center during weekdays or Madinat Khalifa Health Center during weekends.

With the upgrade to the X-ray machines at these health centers, patients can expect improved and more efficient radiology services. The PHCC is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Qatar, and this upgrade is part of their ongoing efforts to enhance the patient experience and ensure the best possible outcomes for all who seek medical treatment at their facilities.

Patients who may be impacted by the redirection to alternate health centers during the upgrade process are encouraged to contact the PHCC for more information and assistance. The PHCC is committed to ensuring that patients have access to the care they need, and their knowledgeable and compassionate staff are available to address any concerns or questions that patients may have during this time.

By investing in the latest technology and equipment, the PHCC is demonstrating their commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery. This upgrade to the X-ray machines at Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, and West Bay health centers will enable these facilities to provide more accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes and increased patient satisfaction.

In conclusion, the upgrade to the X-ray machines at these three health centers in Doha, Qatar is a significant step towards improving the quality of healthcare services provided by the PHCC. Patients can expect enhanced radiology services and a more efficient healthcare experience as a result of this upgrade. The PHCC’s commitment to patient safety and satisfaction is evident in their proactive approach to ensuring minimal disruptions during the installation process. Patients are encouraged to reach out to the PHCC with any questions or concerns they may have, as their dedicated staff are available to assist them throughout this transition period.
