The Egypt International Airshow (EIAS 2024) kicked off in New Alamein City with Minister of Transport HE Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti in attendance, along with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. More than 100 countries, 300 exhibitors, and industry leaders are participating in the event, which showcases the latest technologies and products in civil and commercial aircraft. The airshow aims to support manufacturing and digitization in aviation, defense, and space, providing a platform for discussions on achievements in space exploration and satellite communications.

Qatar’s civil aviation industry has undergone significant transformation in recent years, in line with the goals of the Qatar National Vision. Hamad International Airport has seen a 7 percent increase in aircraft movement and a 10 percent rise in passenger numbers compared to the previous year. The introduction of the S-band radar system and the establishment of the Doha Flight Information Region have enhanced operations and aligned the Qatari civil aviation industry with global standards.

The Egypt International Airshow features airshows, conferences, and exhibitions showcasing the newest services and products in aviation. The event serves as a platform for aviation industry leaders and space agencies to discuss advancements in space technology, civil and military applications, and satellite communications.
