Lebanese singer Myriam Fares set to perform at F1 Qatar Grand Prix

The excitement is building for the upcoming Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024, set to take place at the Lusail International Circuit (LIC) in Doha, Qatar. Organisers have announced that the iconic Lebanese singer, Myriam Fares, will headline the circuit’s main stage on Friday, November 29. Known as the ‘Queen of Stage’, Fares is set to bring a vibrant showcase of Arabic music to the event, blending traditional Arabian heritage with modern beats.

Myriam Fares has built a successful career spanning over two decades, with a large fan base in the Middle East. She is known for her artistic vision of uniting the Arab world and spreading its culture through her music. In 2022, Fares gained global recognition when she recorded the official FIFA Fan Festival anthem for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as well as her hit song “Goumi” which garnered over 10.3 billion views. Netflix also released a documentary about her life titled “Myriam Fares – The Journey” in 2021, which topped the charts for both Arabic and international films.

Fans attending the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024 can catch Myriam Fares live on Friday night with a single-day Friday ticket or a three-day event ticket. The weekend’s musical programme will culminate with a performance by global pop rock icons Maroon 5 on Sunday night, closing out the Formula 1 calendar for the year.
