Health Minister describes referendum on constitutional amendments as a prime example of active public participation

The Minister emphasized the importance of the referendum as a reflection of the harmonious relationship between the government and the people of Qatar. She pointed out that the referendum is an opportunity for citizens to exercise their democratic right and have a say in shaping the future of their country. This active involvement in the political process demonstrates the deep sense of responsibility and commitment that the people of Qatar have towards their nation.

In addition, Minister Al Kuwari highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring the success of the referendum process. She stated that all necessary measures have been put in place to guarantee a smooth and transparent voting process. The government has also taken steps to raise awareness among the public about the importance of participating in the referendum and the significance of the proposed constitutional amendments.

Furthermore, the Minister praised the initiative of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in calling for the referendum on the constitutional amendments. She described his decision as a testament to his commitment to promoting democratic principles and ensuring the active participation of the Qatari people in the decision-making process. The Minister commended HH the Amir for his visionary leadership and his dedication to strengthening the bonds between the government and its citizens.

Moreover, Minister Al Kuwari emphasized the role of the referendum in shaping the future of Qatar and in upholding the values of justice, equality, and inclusion. She stressed the importance of the proposed constitutional amendments in enhancing the rights and freedoms of the Qatari people and in promoting social and economic development in the country. The Minister expressed confidence that the referendum will yield positive outcomes and contribute to the progress and prosperity of Qatar.

In conclusion, Minister of Public Health HE Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring the success of the referendum on the constitutional amendments for 2024. She called on all citizens of Qatar to actively participate in the voting process and to exercise their democratic right. The Minister urged the people of Qatar to unite in support of the proposed constitutional amendments and to work together towards building a brighter future for the country. She expressed confidence that the referendum will strengthen the bonds between the government and its citizens and will pave the way for a more prosperous and inclusive society in Qatar.
