The ‘My School, My Community’ program aims to enhance students’ quality of life and provide a stimulating learning environment.
The strategy also includes plans to improve learning outcomes through curriculum development, digital learning resources, and modern learning methods. Efforts to enhance academic guidance, increase enrollment in scientific specializations, and redesign educational tracks will be made. Additionally, new schools specializing in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics will be opened to enhance the quality of education in these fields.
In the post-secondary education sector, the ministry aims to expand options for vocational, technical, and higher education, aligning programs with the labor market’s needs. Efforts will be made to develop the research, innovation, and entrepreneurship system, prepare competencies, attract talent, enhance research funding programs, and increase private sector participation. Initiatives such as the National School Accreditation Program and the Student Support Services Center aim to provide high-quality education for children with disabilities and support their individual educational plans.
In conclusion, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s 2024-2030 strategy aims to revolutionize and enhance the education system in Qatar, focusing on key areas such as early childhood education, primary to secondary education, and post-secondary education. By empowering learners and focusing on the development of teachers, the strategy seeks to create a sustainable and resilient generation capable of facing future challenges.
