The 15th edition of the Milipol Qatar exhibition and conference, a global event focusing on internal security and safety, concluded on a high note after three days at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event was held under the theme “Technology at the Service of Security” and featured a press conference to mark its success. Key figures such as Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee Maj Gen Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani, Milipol Committee Member Maj Gen Saud Rashid Al Shafi, and CEO of CIVIPOL Yann Jounot attended the conference.

Maj Gen Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani expressed gratitude for the patronage of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and highlighted the growth and significance of Milipol Qatar since its inception in 1996. The event showcased the latest innovations and technologies in security and hosted discussions on various security issues. The chairman announced that contracts worth QR842,013,218 were signed during the exhibition, with 360 official delegations present, including senior officials from 42 countries.

The exhibition featured 255 exhibitors from 26 countries, with 70% international participation. A total of 14,500 visitors and participants attended the exhibition and conference. The fifteenth edition included the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Internal Security and Safety Technologies, which received patronage from Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The conference, attended by H E Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al Thani and other dignitaries, witnessed the participation of twenty speakers and resulted in recommendations for relevant authorities.

The seminars on the side-lines of the exhibition addressed various security issues such as cybersecurity, civil defense, and securing airports and borders. The event covered an area of 23,000 square meters, including an outdoor exhibition space showcasing the Ministry of Interior’s fleet of vehicles. Maj Gen Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani announced that the sixteenth edition of Milipol Qatar would be held from October 20 to 22, 2026. The success of the fifteenth edition highlighted the importance of the event in promoting innovation and addressing security challenges.

In conclusion, the 15th edition of the Milipol Qatar exhibition and conference concluded with a successful press conference, highlighting the event’s growth and significance since its establishment in 1996. The exhibition attracted a significant number of official delegations and exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest advancements in security and safety technologies. The conference on artificial intelligence for internal security and safety technologies was a key highlight, featuring prominent speakers and resulting in valuable recommendations. The side-line seminars addressed important security issues, further emphasizing the event’s importance in promoting innovation and addressing security challenges. The announcement of the dates for the sixteenth edition of Milipol Qatar in 2026 signifies the continued success and relevance of the event in the global security sector.
