The meeting between Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Hassan Hussein Mohamed, Minister of Livestock, Forestry and Range in the Federal Republic of Somalia, focused on enhancing cooperation in the livestock and meats sector. They discussed ways to support joint investment and other sectors to secure mutual interests between the two countries. As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to establish a joint trade and investment forum in Oman. Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, as well as Bashir Hassan Haji, Ambassador-designate of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Sultanate of Oman, were also present at the meeting. Along with other officials from both countries, they contributed to the discussions on how to strengthen cooperation and promote investment opportunities between Oman and Somalia.
