Khamis Al-Hadidi, Director-General of the Directorate-General of Projects and Services, highlighted the Directorate’s achievements in preparing for the academic year. This included receiving new school buildings, expanding existing schools, and renovating over 350 schools. Efforts were also made to furnish science laboratories, install air conditioning devices, and replace school furniture. The Directorate aims to provide all textbooks on time and has signed agreements to replace school transportation vehicles and accommodate more beneficiaries for training programs.

During the forum, an exhibition was held showcasing various companies supporting the Ministry of Education. These companies specialized in areas such as safety security systems, vehicle tracking, artificial intelligence, thermal and water insulation, water purification, paints for schools, awnings and doors, and manufacturing armor. The exhibition aimed to support the main vision of creating a conducive educational environment for future generations.

Key presentations during the forum included discussions on artificial intelligence in education, lessons learned from school construction projects, developing services in transportation, surveillance systems for vehicles, drinking water technology in schools, leadership skills in the 21st century, and improving drainage systems in school toilets. These presentations aimed to explore innovative methods and new horizons in education services.

The forum provided a platform for education officials to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss challenges facing the education sector. By focusing on enhancing the quality of services and creating a supportive educational environment, the forum aimed to contribute to the advancement of the education sector in Oman. The event highlighted the importance of continuous improvement and innovation in education services to meet the evolving needs of students and educators in the 21st century.

Overall, the Projects and Services Forum in Muscat brought together key stakeholders in the education sector to discuss ways to develop and improve educational services in Oman.
