The Ministry of Works in Bahrain is investing BD325,000 in a four-month plan to upgrade the roads in Samaheej and Al Dair villages. The plan includes improving water, electricity networks, and asphalt in the area to enhance the overall infrastructure. Fadhel Al Oud, a member of the Muharraq Municipal Council, shared that three blocks across the two villages will benefit from these upgrades, which involve extensive civil works and the complete resurfacing of key roads.

In Samaheej, Block 234 will undergo significant upgrades, with water and electricity networks being strengthened, and roads 3403, 3407, and 3409 receiving new asphalt. A total of BD20,000 will be spent on civil works, while an additional BD80,000 will go towards replacing the roads. Similarly, in Block 236, work is being done on road 3613 to reinforce water and electricity networks at a cost of BD20,000, with an extra BD80,000 allocated for road resurfacing.

In Al Dair, Block 231 will see improvements on Street 27 and roads 3112, 3114, 2116, and 3117. Al Oud mentioned that the water and electricity networks in this block have already been addressed in a previous phase. The project will involve BD40,000 for civil works and BD85,000 for road resurfacing. Al Oud expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Works, Engineer Ebrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Undersecretary Shaikh Meshal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and Engineer Ebrahim Suwar for their efforts in advancing the project.

Overall, the upgrades in Samaheej and Al Dair villages aim to enhance the infrastructure and improve the quality of life for residents in the area. The investment in water, electricity networks, and asphalt improvements will not only make the roads safer and more durable but also contribute to the overall development of the villages. The project is a testament to the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and providing better services to its citizens.

The four-month plan to overhaul the roads in Samaheej and Al Dair is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Works and local authorities, demonstrating a commitment to improving public infrastructure. The upgrades will not only benefit residents in terms of improved road safety and quality but also create jobs and stimulate economic growth in the area. The project is a significant investment in the future development of the villages, highlighting the government’s dedication to improving living standards and promoting sustainable urban development.

As the upgrades in Samaheej and Al Dair villages progress, residents can look forward to safer and more efficient roadways, as well as enhanced water and electricity networks. The improvements will not only make travel more convenient but also contribute to the overall attractiveness of the villages, potentially attracting more residents and businesses to the area. The project represents a step towards modernizing infrastructure and ensuring that residents have access to essential amenities, ultimately enhancing the quality of life in the communities.
