Led by Assistant Professor Seerwan Hariry, the program included immersive workshops and site visits to provide real-world experience. Students had the chance to observe customs operations at the General Authority of Customs in Al Wakra and learn about Arabic legal language at the Supreme Judicial Council.

During the course, students were able to interact with professionals in the field and gain valuable insights into various aspects of business and legal Arabic language. The program also focused on technical writing skills, with collaboration between GU-Q and Texas A&M at Qatar (TAMU-Q) professors to offer workshops on crafting professional CVs and diplomatic communication. Through a Qatar Foundation Multiversity Grant, students were able to participate in workshops aimed at improving their job prospects in both Arabic and English.

One student, Mohammed Al Hitmi, shared his positive experience with the course, noting the practical skills he gained that prepared him for the job market. Dr. Hariry, along with other professors and industry partners, worked to provide a comprehensive learning experience for students, emphasizing the importance of real-world engagement in developing essential professional skills. The program aimed to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in their future careers.
