Rayhan Thomas, a new professional golfer from Dubai, has been invited to play in the International Series – Morocco tournament at the Royal Dar Es Salam Red Course. The event is part of the Asian Tour’s 2024 season and will take place from July 4th to 7th, 2024. The venue in Rabat has previously hosted tournaments for various tours including the DP World Tour, PGA Tour Champions, Ladies European Tour, and Asian Tour. Thomas, who is 24 years old, will be competing alongside Indian golfers such as Jeev Milkha Singh, Gaganjeet Bhullar, and Shiv Kapur, as well as LIV Golf players like Pat Perez, Peter Uihlein, Caleb Surratt, Graeme McDowell, and Branden Grace.

The International Series Order of Merit leaders, Carlos Ortiz, John Catlin, and David Puig, will be competing for a spot on the LIV Golf tour for the 2025 season. Thomas expressed his excitement about the upcoming tournament, stating that he received a sponsor’s invite to participate and has been practicing diligently. Despite his previous performance in Morocco on the MENA Tour, Thomas is eager to showcase his skills in this Asian Tour event, especially against a strong field that includes many Indian professionals. Following the tournament in Morocco, Thomas plans to return to Dubai briefly to finalize his US VISA before heading back to the US to compete in PGA Tour events and participate in Monday qualifiers.

Overall, Thomas’ participation in the International Series – Morocco event signifies a significant milestone in his professional golf career as he competes against experienced players from around the world. The opportunity to play on the Asian Tour provides Thomas with valuable exposure and experience that will help him further develop his skills and grow as a professional golfer. Additionally, competing alongside Indian golfers and top LIV Golf players adds an extra layer of competition and motivation for Thomas to perform well in the tournament. With dedicated practice and a positive mindset, Thomas is poised to make a strong impression at the Royal Dar Es Salam Red Course next month.
