When Gabriella Demetriades launched her fashion brand, Deme By Gabriella in 2012, she had a clear vision of designing for the bold and confident woman. The brand’s aesthetic is described as slinky and chic, catering to women who want to stand out and be the center of attention. Demetriades showcased her latest Autumn-Winter collection at Dubai Fashion Week, targeting women seeking stylish outfits for special occasions.

Dubai Fashion Week featured talented designers from around the world, including famous names like Amjad Khalil, Angelo Estera, and Roberto Cavalli. For Demetriades, her brand is all about empowering women and making them feel their best, regardless of the occasion. She is passionate about dressing women for special events and loves seeing them choose Deme By Gabriella repeatedly.

As an actress known for her roles in movies like Ishq Jhamela and Oopiri, Demetriades shared that her latest collection pays homage to her diverse cultural background, blending elements from her Cypriot Greek, South African, and Indian roots. She wanted to showcase a Grecian modern warrior aesthetic that is both strong and soft, taking into account the climate and culture of the UAE while designing her collection.

Deme By Gabriella is proudly made in India, with a focus on sustainability and ethical practices. Demetriades emphasized the brand’s commitment to using sustainable packaging, sourcing methods, and collaborating with eco-friendly initiatives like the DHL Go Green program. The brand’s efforts reflect a growing trend in the fashion industry towards more environmentally conscious practices.

According to Demetriades, the upcoming season will feature colors like brown and suede, along with suits and oversized trenches. She predicts that these key colors will remain popular for Autumn-Winter, hinting at a timeless and versatile collection. Deme By Gabriella continues to evolve and adapt to the changing fashion landscape while staying true to its signature style of chic and empowering designs for the modern woman.
