The annual reception ceremony for Muslim leaders and heads of state, hosted by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, took place at the Royal Court of the Mina Palace. During the ceremony, the Crown Prince congratulated the attendees and Muslims on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, praying for the acceptance of the pilgrims’ rituals and their safety. He also highlighted the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the Two Holy Mosques and ensuring the security and safety of the visitors.

Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, outlined the successful plan for this year’s Hajj, including the participation of 35 Hajj service companies that contributed to enhanced services for pilgrims. He also mentioned the establishment of the Hajj Projects Management Office, which coordinates over 50 government agencies to serve the guests of God. The campaign “No Hajj without a permit” was launched to prevent illegal pilgrims, and a digital identification card called Nusk was introduced to improve service efficiency.

Dr. Al-Rabiah discussed the Makkah Route Initiative, which facilitated the arrival of over 316,000 pilgrims from seven countries through 11 airports. The initiative streamlined entry procedures and transportation to Makkah and Madinah. Dr. Shawki Ibrahim Allam, grand mufti of Egypt, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality provided by King Salman and the Crown Prince, praising the organization of Hajj affairs, which allowed for a spiritually tranquil experience for all pilgrims.

Sheikh Sami Al-Masoudi, president of the Iraqi Supreme Authority for Hajj and Umrah, thanked King Salman and the Crown Prince for their efforts in assisting pilgrims and ensuring a comfortable journey. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between Hajj delegations and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to meet all requirements and ensure the security and safety of pilgrims. The Crown Prince also received Muslim leaders and heads of state at the reception, where a luncheon banquet was held for all attendees.

The event was attended by prominent figures such as Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, and other members of the royal family. The Crown Prince’s commitment to serving the guests of God and ensuring their safety was evident throughout the ceremony. The reception highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s dedication to providing a comfortable and secure environment for all pilgrims visiting the Two Holy Mosques. The annual ceremony serves as a testament to the country’s commitment to facilitating the pilgrimage experience and promoting unity among Muslim leaders and dignitaries from around the world.
