Malaysian Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Datuk Ewon Benedick, recently visited KUDU, a leading Quick Service Restaurant brand in Saudi Arabia. KUDU has been in the industry for over 36 years and is known for offering high-quality meals with delicious taste. The minister was introduced to KUDU’s ambitious projects, including plans to expand business operations and enter the Malaysian market with its 100% Saudi brand. This expansion will be achieved through franchising partnerships with well-established companies in Malaysia, with the minister and his delegation playing a vital role in facilitating these efforts.

KUDU is currently working on establishing strategic master franchising partnerships with food and beverage operators in Malaysia, supported by the Malaysian delegation. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of KUDU, Rakan Al-Rashid, welcomed the minister and his delegation and expressed the company’s eagerness to enter the Malaysian market. This initiative aims to enhance cooperation between the two countries and empower Malaysian food and beverage companies to benefit from KUDU’s expertise and vision in the Saudi market.

One of the main reasons for KUDU’s interest in the Malaysian market is the significant number of Malaysian visitors to their branches in Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah, especially during Umrah and Hajj. These visitors have expressed their desire for KUDU to open franchised branches in Malaysia to enjoy the delicious dishes they experienced during their visits. Malaysia is seen as the opening door to Asian markets, and KUDU is keen on fulfilling the demand and establishing its presence in the country.

The visit from the Malaysian minister and his delegation is seen as a significant step in strengthening the joint investment environment between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. This collaboration will not only benefit KUDU in expanding its business operations but also empower Malaysian companies to tap into the Saudi market with the help of KUDU’s expertise and experience. The mutual cooperation aims to boost trade and investment opportunities between the two countries and create a win-win situation for both parties.

KUDU’s reputation for fresh to order meals, operational excellence, and customer-first approach has made it a sought-after brand in the Quick Service Restaurant industry. The company’s focus on quality and taste has been well-received by customers, both in Saudi Arabia and internationally. With plans to expand into Malaysia and potentially other Asian markets in the future, KUDU is set to establish itself as a global player in the food and beverage industry, thanks to its commitment to excellence and innovation.

Overall, the visit of the Malaysian minister and his delegation to KUDU signifies the beginning of a promising partnership between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia in the food and beverage industry. By leveraging each other’s strengths and expertise, both countries can benefit from this collaboration and create new opportunities for growth and development. KUDU’s ambitious plans for expansion and entry into the Malaysian market are a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence and its vision of becoming a global leader in the Quick Service Restaurant sector.
