The Council of Representatives is preparing for an exceptional session today to address pending parliamentary work from a previous marathon session. This session will focus on important discussions related to inquiries from MPs Hamad Al Doy and Jalila Alawi to Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro regarding inactive commercial registrations and auditors. The minister was unable to attend the previous session, leading to a rescheduling for today’s session where he will provide answers and clarification on these matters. Additionally, Minister Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi will be present to respond to queries about licensing procedures for public transportation and concerns about Mumtalakat from MP Jalal Kadhem.

Legislation is a significant part of the agenda for the upcoming session, with discussions planned on designating Fasht Aljarim and Fasht AlAdhm as natural reserves. The lower house will also consider a piece of legislation from the Shura Council that aims to outline the legalities and sanctions surrounding incest. Furthermore, there will be discussions and a ballot on the recommendations from the Committee on Services regarding the legislation on the apportionment of time in accommodation units.

Overall, today’s session of the Council of Representatives is crucial as it addresses pending Parliamentary work and focuses on inquiries related to commercial registrations and auditors. The presence of both Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro and Minister Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi adds significance to the session, as they will provide clarification on licensing procedures for public transportation and address concerns about Mumtalakat. Additionally, the agenda includes discussions on legislation concerning natural reserves, incest, and accommodation unit time apportionment. The outcome of these discussions and decisions made during the session will have a lasting impact on various sectors in Bahrain.
