The Global Chess League, a collaboration between Tech Mahindra and FIDE, has unveiled the six franchises for its highly anticipated second season set to take place in London from October 3 to 12 at the Friends House. The participating franchises for this season include Alpine SG Pipers, Ganges Grandmasters, Mumba Masters, PBG Alaskan Knights, and the reigning champions Triveni Continental Kings. The league’s inaugural edition was held in Dubai, and the upcoming season promises to be even more exciting.

The second season of the Global Chess League will introduce a new team known as the American Gambits, owned by notable business leaders Prachura PP and Venkat K. Narayana, along with Indian cricket legend and chess enthusiast Ravichandran Ashwin.
