Ashghal announces temporary closures of two tunnels this weekend

Ashghal, the Public Works Authority in Doha, Qatar, has announced temporary closures on two tunnels starting on January 2, 2025. The Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange Tunnel will be closed for traffic coming from Gharrafat Al Rayyan towards Doha for eight hours from midnight to 5am. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during this time.

Additionally, the Mesaimeer Interchange Tunnel will be closed for traffic coming from Mesaieed Road towards the Industrial Area Road on January 3, 2025. The closure will be in effect for eight hours from 2am to 10am for essential maintenance works. Motorists heading towards the Industrial Area Road are advised to use alternative routes as per the attached map during this period.
