Al Qadsiah Club, under the ownership of Saudi Aramco, continues to make waves in the world of football with their investment strategy. The latest addition to their roster is 19-year-old Spanish talent, Iker Almena, who was signed from Girona. Iker expressed his gratitude to his former club for the support he received during his time there and wished them well for the future. It is reported that Al Qadsiah paid a hefty sum of €5 million to secure Iker’s transfer.

In addition to Iker, Al Qadsiah is also in talks to acquire 18-year-old Alex Vargas from Real Betis. The potential transfer deal for Alex is said to be worth up to €1 million. The club is clearly making serious moves to strengthen their squad with young, talented players. They have also recently signed local talent Saif Rajab, who has been making a significant impression with his performances. Saif’s contract with Al Qadsiah will run until 2029, showcasing the club’s commitment to nurturing young talents.

Al Qadsiah’s investment strategy not only involves signing promising players but also involves loaning them out for further development. This was evident when they signed Carlos Jiménez only to loan him out to Villarreal shortly after. Carlos had signed a contract with Al Qadsiah until 2029, showing that the club is willing to invest in the long-term development of their players. This strategy allows young talents like Carlos to gain valuable experience and exposure at top clubs before returning to Al Qadsiah.

The club’s efforts to secure young talents from top clubs like Girona and Real Betis highlight their ambition to compete at a higher level in the future. By investing in promising players like Iker Almena and Alex Vargas, Al Qadsiah is laying the foundation for a strong and competitive squad. The club’s willingness to break contracts and pay significant transfer fees demonstrates their commitment to building a successful team that can challenge for titles both domestically and internationally.

With the signing of Iker Almena, Al Qadsiah has made a statement of intent in the football world. The club’s investment strategy under the ownership of Saudi Aramco is showing results as they continue to attract young talents from top clubs. By securing players like Iker, Alex, and Saif, Al Qadsiah is building a squad that is not only talented but also has the potential to grow and succeed in the long term. Fans can expect exciting times ahead as the club continues to make strategic moves to strengthen their team.
