As summer begins in Saudi Arabia, temperatures are rising across the country. The Al-Ahsa Governorate in the Eastern Province recorded the highest temperatures at 41 degrees Celsius, while Al-Soudah in the Asir region saw the lowest temperatures at 21 degrees Celsius. Other regions such as Makkah, Sharurah, Al-Saman, Al-Dahna Desert, and Rawdat Al-Tanhat also experienced temperatures reaching 39 degrees Celsius. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported weather fluctuations in various parts of the country, with a possibility of thunderstorms, active winds, and hail showers in some regions. Dust and dirt stirred by active winds will continue to affect areas such as Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders Region, Hail, Madinah, and parts of the Makkah region.

As temperatures soar in Saudi Arabia with the onset of summer, it is important for residents to take precautions to stay safe in the heat. With temperatures reaching over 40 degrees Celsius in some areas, it is crucial to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Wearing light and breathable clothing, using sunscreen, and seeking shade whenever possible are essential steps to prevent heat-related illnesses. It is also important to be aware of weather forecasts and take necessary precautions during thunderstorms, active winds, and hail showers.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued warnings for thunderstorms, active winds, and hail showers in various regions of Saudi Arabia. Residents in the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Najran, Jazan, and Asir regions should be prepared for possible weather fluctuations. In addition to these weather events, active winds stirring dust and dirt will continue to affect areas such as Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders Region, Hail, Madinah, and parts of the Makkah region. It is important for residents to stay informed about weather updates and take appropriate measures to ensure their safety during inclement weather conditions.

As the summer season progresses in Saudi Arabia, it is essential to be mindful of the impact of extreme temperatures on daily activities and overall well-being. Taking breaks indoors, staying cool with air conditioning or fans, and avoiding strenuous physical activities during the hottest parts of the day can help prevent heat-related illnesses. It is also important to check on vulnerable populations such as the elderly, children, and individuals with chronic health conditions to ensure their well-being during the summer months. By staying informed about weather forecasts and following safety guidelines, residents can navigate the challenges of summer heat while staying safe and healthy.

In conclusion, as temperatures rise in Saudi Arabia at the beginning of the summer season, residents must be vigilant about staying safe in the heat. With the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) predicting weather fluctuations, including thunderstorms, active winds, and hail showers in various regions of the country, it is crucial to be prepared for changing weather conditions. By taking proactive measures such as staying hydrated, wearing appropriate clothing, and seeking shade during peak sun hours, individuals can protect themselves from heat-related illnesses. Additionally, staying informed about weather updates and following safety precautions during severe weather events can help ensure the well-being of residents during the summer months. By prioritizing safety and well-being, residents can enjoy the summer season while minimizing the risks associated with extreme temperatures.
