The annual summer sale in Abu Dhabi, organized by Line Investments and Property (LIP), is back with discounts of up to 90 per cent across 11 shopping malls. The sale, which runs until June 30, offers shoppers the chance to win travel packages, gold vouchers, and mega prizes of three cars. Participating malls in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra are all part of this month-long campaign.
To enter the raffle draws, shoppers need to spend a minimum of Dh200 at any store within the malls and present their receipts at the customer service desk. Combining bills from different stores within the same mall to reach the Dh200 mark is allowed. Weekly draws will take place on June 9, 16, and 23, with travel packages to exotic destinations like Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Bali up for grabs. Additionally, three lucky winners will drive away with brand-new cars on June 30.
The managing director of LIP, Wajeb Al Khoury, expressed optimism about the Summer Super Sale campaign, noting that all tenants of the 11 malls are participating. With fantastic deals, rewards, and discounts available, the sale aims to attract both UAE residents and visitors. Biju George, the general manager for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, highlighted the success of previous years’ sales as motivation for making this year’s sale even more rewarding.
Participating malls include Al Wahda Mall, Mushrif Mall, Khalidiyah Mall, Al Raha Mall, Mazyad Mall, Forsan Central Mall, Al Falah Central Mall, and Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre and Gold Centre (all in Abu Dhabi), Barari Outlet Mall and Al Foah Mall (in Al Ain), and Al Dhafra Mall. In addition to the summer sale, LIP and Lulu Money will also be launching a digital Laka gift card app, coinciding with Eid Al Adha. This app will provide access to 3,000 brands across 16 shopping malls in the country, powered by Lulu Exchange’s digital payment solution.
Thampi Sudarsanan, CEO of LuLu Exchange UAE, emphasized the promise of innovative technology to empower businesses with seamless solutions. The digital app will feature the ability to buy and gift digital Laka cards, participate in mall promotions, and access information on events, store locations, offers, and other mall services. Overall, the summer sale and digital app launch aim to enhance the shopping experience for customers in Abu Dhabi and beyond.
