Scientific Research Forum 2026 Set to Inspire Innovation

The University of Bahrain is gearing up for its highly anticipated event, the “Scientific Research Forum 2026,” aimed at promoting scientific research as a foundation for future innovations. Scheduled for September 27 and 28, 2023, at the Gulf Conference Center in the Gulf Hotel, the forum will feature a diverse range of researchers, academics, and experts focusing on themes such as sustainable innovation in business, finance, and technology.

Empowering Young Researchers and Graduate Students

According to Professor Abdullah Al-Hawaj, the founder and president of the University of Bahrain and chairman of the Board of Trustees, the forum serves as a pivotal platform for young researchers and graduate students. It enables them to present their ideas and contribute significantly to the knowledge-based economy, moving from mere knowledge transfer to knowledge creation and practical solutions that benefit society and the economy.

Dr. Alam Hamdan, the Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences and chairman of the forum, emphasized the strong response to the call for research papers. Over 90 submissions from students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees successfully passed the scientific review process, showcasing the academic rigor and commitment of the university’s community. The selection process was competitive, with the committee unable to accept all submissions due to limited session capacity.

Highlights of the Forum’s Agenda

The agenda for the Scientific Research Forum 2026 is set to include around 100 research presentations divided into 17 parallel sessions. These sessions will comprise oral presentations and a dedicated segment for scientific poster presentations, providing varied platforms for dialogue and academic exchange.

In addition to the research presentations, the forum will host four keynote lectures from leading specialists covering topics such as artificial intelligence methodologies, qualitative research methods, the ethics of administrative research, and skills related to thesis presentation and defense. To further enrich the experience, three practical workshops will be conducted addressing the use of artificial intelligence tools in academic research, early publication strategies for doctoral students, and management of scientific references.

Acknowledging Contributions to Knowledge and Innovation

The conclusion of the Scientific Research Forum 2026 will feature an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding research contributions that enrich knowledge and pave new avenues for development and innovation in the fields of business, finance, and technology. This recognition underscores the importance of academic contributions to the evolving landscape of knowledge and industry standards.

In summary, the Scientific Research Forum 2026 at the University of Bahrain represents a commitment to fostering academic excellence and innovation. Researchers and participants can look forward to a robust dialogue that not only advances individual knowledge but also supports broader economic and technological advancements. As the date approaches, attendees are encouraged to prepare to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborations that will shape the future of research and its applications.
