KidZania Kuwait Hosts Vision Health Event for Back-to-School Season

KidZania Kuwait, in collaboration with the eyewear provider Hassan Optical, organized a special event from September 10 to September 12, 2026, focused on promoting children’s vision health as the new school year begins. Under the slogan “Clear Vision… Better Learning,” the initiative aimed to raise awareness among children and parents about the significant role that good eyesight plays in reading, writing, and overall academic performance.

This unique event featured a variety of interactive activities designed to engage children in a fun way while instilling healthy eye care habits. Children participated in eye exam challenges, designed their own glasses, enjoyed coloring activities, and solved educational puzzles. They also learned about the 20-20 rule for healthy screen use and took part in a treasure hunt for “golden glasses.” These engaging activities provided an enjoyable educational experience, helping children to gain knowledge about eye health and learn about preventive eyewear solutions offered by Hassan Optical.

Expert Insights and Community Engagement

Notably, the event featured the participation of Dr. Lida Ayoub, a vision specialist at Yas Clinic, who provided free vision screenings throughout the event. She also shared essential tips and professional guidance with families regarding children’s eye care and the importance of maintaining healthy vision. This collaboration underscores Hassan Optical’s commitment to supporting the health and well-being of children through meaningful community initiatives.

The integration of medical expertise with educational activities and interactive experiences significantly contributed to raising awareness about the importance of eye health. It helped families prepare for a successful and healthy return to school while highlighting the critical connection between vision and learning outcomes.

KidZania: Educational Entertainment for Children

KidZania is a global leader in educational entertainment, offering children a fun way to learn through simulated real-life activities. It provides an opportunity for kids to explore various professions and practical experiences, which aids in building self-confidence, developing life skills, and instilling a sense of responsibility and positive citizenship. The back-to-school event exemplifies KidZania’s commitment to combining learning with enjoyment, providing invaluable lessons that extend beyond the classroom.

This initiative not only serves to educate children about the importance of eye health but also fosters community spirit by encouraging parents to actively participate in their children’s learning experiences. Through engaging events like this, KidZania continues to be a valuable resource for families in the region.

Looking Ahead: Future Initiatives and Vision Health Awareness

As the school year progresses, parents and educators should remain vigilant about ensuring children’s eye health. With increasing screen time and academic demands, it is essential to emphasize regular eye check-ups and healthy habits. Future outreach initiatives by Hassan Optical and KidZania are expected to continue focusing on these vital aspects of children’s health.

Parents can look forward to more community events designed to engage families in health awareness and educational experiences. These programs aim to not only support children’s well-being but also to enhance their overall learning journeys through healthy sight. By fostering awareness and promoting preventive measures, organizations like KidZania and Hassan Optical are setting a robust foundation for healthier futures for the next generation.
