The event will run until December 18, featuring top national teams from across the Arab world competing for the championship title.

Belhanda, who currently plays for Al Shamal Club in the Qatar Stars League, highlighted the honor of representing his country on the international stage, particularly in a prestigious tournament like the Arab Cup. With 59 international matches and five goals under his belt since his debut in 2010, Belhanda has established himself as a key player for Morocco.

FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025: A Celebration of Football and Sportsmanship

For Belhanda, participating in the FIFA Arab Cup is not just about the competition; it’s about the spirit of brotherhood and fair play that defines the event. He emphasized that all teams will strive to make their nations proud and bring joy to their fans.

Belhanda also praised Qatar’s impressive sports infrastructure, noting the advanced cooling technology in the stadiums that allows for optimal performance regardless of the season. The high-quality facilities are a testament to Qatar’s commitment to hosting world-class sporting events. The tournament will take place in four stadiums: Ahmed Bin Ali, Education City, Khalifa International, and Stadium 974, all of which hosted matches during the historic FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Group Stage and Qualification Process

The draw for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 has placed Morocco in Group B alongside Saudi Arabia, with two additional teams to be determined from the qualifiers. The qualification process involves 14 teams competing for the remaining seven spots, with matches scheduled for November 25 and 26 in Qatar. A total of 16 teams will participate in the tournament, with nine teams having already qualified directly.

According to the tournament’s schedule, the matches will be distributed across the four stadiums, ensuring a high level of competition and sportsmanship. The event is expected to showcase the talents of various national teams and provide a platform for players like Belhanda to shine on the international stage.

Qatar’s Hosting Legacy and Future Events

The country’s ability to deliver successful and memorable events is evident in its state-of-the-art infrastructure and organizational capabilities. Moreover, Qatar is set to host the Arab Cup again in 2029 and 2033, further solidifying its position as a premier destination for international football tournaments.
