In collaboration with Skaya Art, Oblong Contemporary Gallery presents the solo exhibition of Dmitry Suhov, a visionary Russian artist known for his abstract expressionist style. Curated by Paola Marucci, Elena Zaytseva, and designer Lena Lenskaya, the exhibition features a striking collection of large-scale paintings and sculptural steles, each delving into the depths of the subconscious mind. Through bold colors and intricate textures, Suhov’s work captures the unseen emotions and experiences that shape our reality.
“Dmitry’s work is multi-layered, expressive, and deeply resonant, filling the space with energy and emotion,” says Lena Lenskaya, one of the exhibition’s curators. Inspired by the artistic philosophies of Kazimir Malevich and Jackson Pollock, Suhov skillfully merges classical techniques with modern abstraction, offering a fresh perspective on contemporary expressionism. Skaya Art, in collaboration with Art Venture Gallery, is also proud to present the solo exhibition of Leonardo Partida Prieto, an acclaimed Mexican contemporary artist celebrated for his innovative mixed-media canvases. His latest collection, featuring 10 exclusive, never-before-seen artworks, examines the symbolic connection between the human heart and diamonds, reflecting themes of endurance, transformation, and the pursuit of dreams.
“Just like a diamond forms through time, pressure, and heat, our hearts endure trials, triumphs, and the relentless pursuit of dreams,” explains Leonardo Partida Prieto.
