In the first half of 2024, the centre completed 256 field visits to various food establishments, including agricultural, animal, and fishery establishments. These visits were conducted to ensure that the establishments were adhering to health standards and approved specifications. Additionally, the centre released 26,584 imported food shipments, issued over 15,138 validity certificates, 2,319 health certificates, and 552 export certificates in the first half of 2024. The centre also matched 451 explanatory data cards and 1,396 test reports, further showcasing the ministry’s dedication towards meeting food safety and quality requirements.
