Lulu Retail recently opened its first store in Makkah, near Masjid Al Haram, marking its 250th store globally. The strategic location near the holy mosque aims to cater to both local residents and the millions of pilgrims who visit the city each year. The store offers a variety of products and services to enhance the shopping experience for visitors and residents alike. Key dignitaries attended the inauguration ceremony, emphasizing the company’s commitment to serving the community and meeting the needs of travelers to the holy city.

Ashraf Ali M.A., Executive Director of Lulu Group, expressed pride in the new store’s opening and highlighted the company’s dedication to providing high-quality services to pilgrims and local communities. The store’s offerings include an Express Supermarket, a Fresh Food section, Lulu Connect for mobile accessories and electronics, and a Fashion store with a wide range of collections. Operating 24 hours a day, the store aims to make shopping convenient for customers, especially during busy pilgrimage seasons.

The expansion of Lulu Retail into Makkah is part of a larger growth strategy, with plans to open more outlets in both Makkah and Madinah in the coming months. The company’s goal is to support the growing needs of the community and contribute to making visitors’ experiences more convenient by offering a diverse range of products tailored to their requirements. By strategically positioning stores near key locations such as Masjid Al Haram, Lulu is able to provide essential products and services to a wide range of customers, further solidifying its presence in the region.

The new store in Makkah features a range of offerings to meet the diverse needs of its customers, including an Express Supermarket and a Fresh Food section for daily essentials, as well as Lulu Connect for mobile accessories and electronics. The Fashion store showcases a wide range of collections to cater to the preferences of visitors and residents. The 24-hour operation of the store allows customers to shop at their convenience, ensuring that they can access essential products and services whenever they need them.

The inauguration of Lulu’s first store in Makkah was attended by key officials from the company, as well as representatives from Jabal Omar Development Company. The presence of these dignitaries underscores the significance of the opening and the company’s commitment to serving the community.
