Qatar’s coach Luis Garcia is determined to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup as they prepare to face hosts Kuwait in a crucial match. Both teams are in a challenging position in Group A, with Qatar and the UAE having just one point each while Oman and Kuwait lead with four points apiece. A draw will be enough for Oman and Kuwait to advance to the semi-finals. Despite slim chances, Garcia remains hopeful about Qatar’s prospects but acknowledges the tough task posed by Kuwait, who are in good form after defeating the UAE in their last match.

Although Qatar will be without Sultan Al Brake due to injury, Garcia is confident that the team will overcome the absences and achieve a positive result. The coach also emphasizes the importance of testing young players who are considered the future of the team. Defender Tarek Salman echoes Garcia’s sentiments, stating that the team is fully focused on the upcoming match and will give their best to secure a win against Kuwait.

On the other hand, Kuwait coach Juan Antonio Pizzi views the game against Qatar as the most difficult in the group and is optimistic about securing three points. Pizzi acknowledges Qatar’s involvement of young players as a positive step for the future and emphasizes the need for his team to stay focused and give their all in the match. Kuwait player Mishari Al Ghannam acknowledges Qatar’s strength as the Asian champions but is confident in their preparations and promises their fans a positive result to continue in the tournament.

The match between Qatar and Kuwait will take place at Jaber Al Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City, with the Oman-UAE clash happening simultaneously at another venue. Both teams are eager to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the Arabian Gulf Cup and will give their all in the crucial matches to progress in the tournament. With the stakes high in Group A, Qatar and Kuwait prepare to battle it out on the field, with both sides aiming for a victory to advance in the competition. As the tournament heats up, fans can expect an exciting and competitive match between these two formidable teams vying for a spot in the semi-finals.
