Saudi Awwal Bank has recently achieved the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), making it the first bank in Saudi Arabia to receive this recognition. This certification is only awarded to organizations that effectively manage and enhance quality in their operations. The rigorous certification process involved thorough audits conducted by experts from the British Standards Institution (BSI) over the past three months. These audits assessed various processes and procedures within the bank to ensure that SAB is committed to quality management and continuous improvement.

Ghada Al Jarbou, the Chief Operating Officer at SAB, expressed her delight at being the first bank in the Kingdom to obtain the ISO 9001:2015 certification. Al Jarbou also credited the hard work and teamwork of the bank’s staff for this accomplishment. With a history in Saudi Arabia dating back over 90 years, SAB has been an active partner in supporting the country’s economic growth and social development. The bank is recognized as one of the largest banks in the Kingdom, offering a range of integrated financial and banking services, including corporate banking, investment, private banking, and treasury services.

Saudi Awwal Bank is a leader in corporate and institutional international banking in Saudi Arabia, with a strong Wealth & Personal Banking proposition.
