Bahrain Tennis Federation’s Packed Schedule Until the End of the Year

The Junior International Tennis Tournament, categorized as “G30,” is set to kick off today at the Polytechnic University of Bahrain courts. Hosted by the Bahrain Tennis Federation, this tournament will run from November 4 to 9, marking a significant moment for the sport. The preliminary rounds have already set the stage for some exciting matches, with three Bahraini players advancing to the final qualifying round. Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, Ali Al-Khayat, and Talal Al-Sayed showcased their skills and determination in the preliminary matches.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Tennis Federation, expressed his pride in hosting the ITF Junior Tennis Championship. He emphasized the importance of this tournament in developing local talent and enhancing Bahrain’s international standing in the world of tennis. The president also highlighted the opportunities that this tournament provides for Bahraini players to gain valuable experience against high-skilled competitors from around the globe.

The Bahrain Tennis Federation has a packed schedule ahead for the season, with six international, continental, and regional tournaments on the agenda. This includes three ITF junior championships, the Davis Cup, the Billie Jean King Cup for women, and the Arab Championship. The federation recently concluded the tennis competition as part of the International School Games and is currently hosting a regional coaches’ conference with over 100 coaches from various Asian countries participating for the first time.

Overall, the Junior International Tennis Tournament in Bahrain is a significant event in the world of tennis, providing a platform for young players to showcase their skills and compete against top-ranked players.
