Under the patronage of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the 15th edition of “Milipol Qatar,” the global exhibition for internal security and safety, will kick off on October 29. The three-day event will host seminars covering key security topics such as cybersecurity, civil defense, and airport and border security, with 15 presentations lined up for this edition. An outdoor space will showcase the Ministry of Interior’s vehicle fleet, and the event is expected to attract over 350 official delegations, underlining its global significance. An international conference on artificial intelligence (AI) titled “Artificial Intelligence for Internal Security and Safety” is scheduled for October 29 and 30 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Leading experts will convene to discuss AI innovations and ethics across four main themes: AI and smart technologies, AI in security work, AI ethics, and the security opportunities and challenges posed by AI.
