The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (Sezad) has seen a significant increase in investment, with a growth of 55% bringing its total value to OMR2.1 billion.
Dr. Nasser bin Rashid Al Maawali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, highlighted the government’s continuous programs and initiatives to attract investments and promote economic growth in line with Oman Vision 2040. The authority has implemented various initiatives to enhance services for investors, including digital transformation to streamline processes and improve efficiency. The magazine also emphasized the growing role of Omani women in the economy, with 3,554 women employed in companies within these special economic zones and industrial cities.
