The fourth annual Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF) will begin in Riyadh on Wednesday under the theme “Advancing Collective Action in Cyberspace.” The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) is organizing the forum with the aim to enhance international cooperation in addressing pressing issues in cyberspace. The GCF will host a distinguished group of decision-makers, chief executives, and representatives from leading international organizations from over 120 countries. Additionally, the forum will also feature the first-ever Child Protection in Cyberspace (CPC) Global Summit, in collaboration with the UN International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), among others. This summit aims to address key topics around child protection in cyberspace and unify efforts to safeguard children from growing threats in the digital realm.

The CPC Global Summit aligns with the global initiative by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to raise awareness about the challenges children face in the digital realm. The GCF aims to address various themes in panel discussions such as overcoming cyber disparities, cyber behavior and the social fabric in cyberspace, making cyberspace a catalyst for development, thriving cyber economy, and exploring new cyber horizons. The GCF is set to host a wide range of thought leaders, decision-makers, and representatives from leading international entities. The forum aims to facilitate discussions on pressing cybersecurity issues and foster international cooperation in addressing these challenges. By bringing together key stakeholders from various sectors, the GCF provides a unique platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, and developing new strategies to enhance cybersecurity at the global level. This year’s edition of the forum will also feature the CPC Global Summit, which focuses on child protection in cyberspace and aims to unite efforts to safeguard children from the growing threats they face online.

The CPC Global Summit organized in collaboration with the UN ITU, UNICEF, and other stakeholders will address key topics related to child protection in cyberspace. The summit aims to spur initiatives that will unify efforts and achieve maximum impact in safeguarding children from the digital threats they face. By raising global awareness among decision-makers about the challenges children face in the digital realm, the CPC Global Summit aims to contribute towards creating a safer online environment for children. The forum continues to build on the objectives set by previous editions, bringing together international officials to discuss and address pressing cybersecurity issues and promote international cooperation in cyberspace.

The GCF will feature panel discussions on various themes including overcoming cyber disparities, promoting inclusion in cyberspace, using cyberspace as a catalyst for development, advancing the cyber economy, and exploring new cyber horizons. These discussions aim to foster dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on leveraging emerging technologies to drive progress and development.
