The Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation (QRDI) Council recently wrapped up its 8th Corporate Innovation Leaders Program (CILP), a four-day training event aimed at equipping corporate leaders with the tools and strategies necessary to drive business growth and foster innovation. Held in partnership with Alchemist Accelerator, a respected global accelerator for corporate startups, the program ran from September 22 to 25 and saw participation from various corporate executives, strategists, and innovators. Aysha Abdulhameed Al Mudahka, RDI Program Director at QRDI Council, expressed her excitement at the increasing number of participants – totaling 236 – who gained valuable insights to promote innovation within their organizations and contribute to Qatar National Vision 2030.

The program featured a series of sessions focused on fostering innovation and addressing corporate challenges, with workshops covering topics such as cultivating a growth mindset, overcoming obstacles, and exploring innovation modules. The first day included workshops that concentrated on identifying and prioritizing opportunities for innovation. A key event during the program was a panel discussion on “Building a Culture of Innovation,” held on the third day. This session provided attendees with valuable insights from industry experts and successful innovators, who shared their experiences and lessons learned. The discussion created an enthusiastic and engaged atmosphere among participants, inspiring and motivating them for future endeavors.

Participants in the Corporate Innovation Leaders Program gain access to a range of benefits, including entry into Alchemist’s exclusive network of global corporate innovators, startup founders, and venture capitalists. This opportunity allows them to connect with like-minded professionals and gain insights from successful individuals in the field of innovation. By providing access to such a network, the program not only equips participants with valuable knowledge and tools but also opens up new avenues for collaboration and growth. The QRDI Council’s commitment to fostering innovation within Qatar is highlighted through initiatives like the CILP, which aim to empower corporate leaders and drive forward the country’s innovation ecosystem.

Overall, the 8th Corporate Innovation Leaders Program organized by the QRDI Council was a resounding success, with a diverse group of participants benefiting from valuable insights and strategies to promote innovation within their organizations. Through collaboration with Alchemist Accelerator and industry experts, the program provided participants with a platform to learn, engage, and connect with like-minded professionals in the field of corporate innovation. By focusing on cultivating a culture of innovation and overcoming obstacles, the program equipped participants with the tools needed to drive business growth and contribute towards achieving Qatar National Vision 2030. The program’s success reflects the commitment of the QRDI Council towards fostering innovation and driving forward Qatar’s innovation ecosystem.
