Al Khulaifi meets multiple officials during the 79th UN General Assembly

HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had a busy day on Monday as he met with several foreign dignitaries on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Among those he met with were HE Dr. Abdullah Bou Habib, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigrants of the Lebanese Caretaker Government, HE Al Taher Salem Al Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU), HE Nuh Yilmaz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, HE Timothy Lenderking, the US Special Envoy for Yemen, and HE Roger Carstens, Special Envoy for Hostage Affairs of the United States of America.

During these meetings, the discussions focused on cooperation relations and ways to support and develop them, as well as regional and international developments. This highlights the importance of diplomatic efforts in maintaining strong international relationships and addressing global challenges. These discussions also underscore the significance of multilateral cooperation in addressing a wide range of issues, from political and economic matters to security and humanitarian concerns.

HE Dr. Al Khulaifi’s meetings with these foreign officials demonstrate Qatar’s commitment to engaging with key countries in the region and around the world. By holding discussions with representatives from Lebanon, Libya, Turkey, the United States, and other countries, Qatar is able to strengthen its ties with strategic partners and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
