More than 3 Million Travelers Visit Bahrain’s Ports, Airport, and King Fahd Causeway in July

The Kingdom of Bahrain experienced a surge in tourism in July, with over 3.3 million travelers passing through its entry points. The King Fahd Causeway, connecting Bahrain to Saudi Arabia, was the busiest entry point, with 1,407,970 passengers entering Bahrain and 1,427,189 travelers leaving through the causeway. Bahrain International Airport and the country’s seaports also saw significant foot traffic, with 223,784 passengers arriving at the airport and 247,564 departing, and 1,856 passengers entering the seaports and 1,892 departing.

In comparison to June, where a total of 3,378,007 travelers passed through Bahrain’s entry points, the numbers for July remained strong. The King Fahd Causeway recorded 1,431,932 arrivals and 1,455,995 departures, while Bahrain International Airport saw 213,032 arrivals and 273,466 departures. The seaports welcomed 1,912 passengers, with 1,670 travelers departing. This consistent flow of travelers showcases the growing appeal of Bahrain as a destination for both business and leisure.
