Cabinet emphasizes Saudi efforts to stop Israeli attacks on Palestinians

The Council of Ministers in Saudi Arabia, chaired by King Salman, has emphasized the country’s efforts to stop Israel’s aggression on Palestinians in occupied territories. The Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, has been in contact with leaders like Turkish President Erdogan and Egyptian President El-Sisi to unify Arab and Islamic support for the Palestinians. The Cabinet also discussed international meetings that Saudi Arabia attended and highlighted the importance of cooperation with friendly nations. The recent meeting of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council was praised for strengthening relations between the two countries.

The Cabinet reviewed regional and international developments and reiterated Saudi Arabia’s support for initiatives promoting security and stability globally. The 50th anniversary of the Saudi Fund for Development was highlighted as a significant milestone showcasing the fund’s contributions to fostering development in developing countries. On the domestic front, the Cabinet approved royal orders reconstituting the Council of Senior Scholars and the Shoura Council to support religious and national interests.

In terms of laws and agreements, the Cabinet approved the Measurement and Calibration Law and Saudi Arabia’s participation in the Euro-Arab Judicial Training Network. Cooperation agreements were also approved in various fields such as environment, agriculture, labor, employment, healthcare, civil aviation, and legal affairs. The Cabinet also authorized discussions and signing of agreements with countries like Oman, Nigeria, and Bahrain for mutual cooperation.

The session of the Council of Ministers in Saudi Arabia underlines the country’s commitment to stopping Israel’s aggression on the Palestinians.
