The Qatar Scientific Club (QSC) under the Ministry of Sports and Youth recently concluded its successful two-month-long summer camp filled with various scientific activities. The club’s Administrative and Financial Director, Fatima Al Mohannadi, mentioned that they have been receiving a high demand for their scientific programs, which has led them to increase the number of workshops and provide morning sessions to accommodate more participants. The club’s workshops and programs will continue as per their annual plan to fill all available seats.

Hamad Adel Al Yafei, head of QSC’s activities and events team, highlighted the positive outcomes of this year’s summer camp, which included the completion of 18 projects and 16 engineering models by participants using advanced technological devices. The camp also involved collaboration with entities like the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Traffic Department, and Social Cultural Center for Rehabilitation of Special Needs to provide diverse outcomes. A total of 1,114 participants, with 90 percent being nationals, benefited from the camp, with over 50 volunteers supporting administrative and logistical services.

The summer camp aimed not only to provide educational workshops, lectures, and interactive scientific presentations but also to promote the culture of volunteering among the participants. More than 50 volunteers were trained for administrative work, aligning with Qatar’s goal of cultivating an aware and educated generation. The camp’s success reflects the club’s commitment to providing valuable scientific and technical experiences to the community.

QSC’s dedication to meeting the growing demand for its programs showcases its commitment to promoting scientific education and innovation among the youth. By increasing the number of workshops and collaborating with various entities, the club was able to offer a diverse range of activities and projects to the participants. The success of the summer camp underscores the importance of fostering a passion for science and technology among the younger generation in Qatar.

As the summer camp concluded, QSC will continue to offer workshops and programs according to their annual plan until all available seats are filled. The club’s efforts to engage the community in scientific activities and provide valuable experiences for the participants contribute to building a more knowledgeable and skilled generation in Qatar. With the support of volunteers and collaboration with other organizations, QSC is able to make a significant impact on the scientific education landscape in the country.

In conclusion, the Qatar Scientific Club’s summer camp has been a resounding success, with participants benefiting from a wide range of scientific activities and projects. The club’s commitment to promoting scientific education and innovation, along with its collaboration with various entities, has led to positive outcomes for the participants. By fostering a culture of volunteering and providing valuable experiences for the youth, QSC is making a significant contribution to the development of an educated and aware generation in Qatar.
