Weather in the UAE: Some areas to experience rain; windy and dusty conditions persist

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) in the UAE forecasts partly cloudy weather on Friday, August 23, with chances of rainfall over eastern areas in the afternoon. Residents can expect fair conditions, with convective clouds appearing later in the day. Earlier forecasts predicted spells of rainfall and continued dusty windy conditions across most parts of the country, so it is advised to stay updated with the latest news through KT’s WhatsApp Channels.

Temperatures are expected to rise gradually, with Mezaira and Razeen reaching up to 46°C while mountain areas may experience lows of 22°C. Light to moderate winds, occasionally freshening, will blow at speeds up to 40kmph from southeastern to northwestern areas, causing dust to rise. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, providing relatively calm conditions for maritime activities.

In conclusion, UAE residents can expect fair weather on Friday with possible rainfall in eastern areas in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise throughout the day, reaching highs of 46°C in some areas and lows of 22°C in mountain regions.
