The dawn of Thursday morning brought unexpected joy and relief to Aryan Saboo, a student at GEMS Cambridge International School in Dubai, as he received a congratulatory call for his outstanding A-level results. Despite forgetting his username and password, Aryan’s hard work and dedication paid off, and he achieved remarkable grades. The key to his success, according to Aryan, was his passion for the subjects he chose, allowing him to stay motivated and balance academics with extracurricular activities such as skateboarding and playing the guitar.

Aryan’s academic achievements include excelling in subjects like Computer Science, Chemistry, and Maths, leading him to receive offers from seven prestigious US universities. He ultimately decided to join Georgia Tech to pursue a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. The upcoming journey at Georgia Tech excites Aryan, as he looks forward to exploring his passions and engaging in unparalleled research opportunities offered by the institution.

Reflecting on his successful A-level journey, Aryan expresses his gratitude to the supportive staff at CIS who played a vital role in his achievements. This year marked a significant milestone for GEMS Education, with 1,883 students from various schools completing a record number of A-level exams. Notable achievers like Sarah Osama Yousef Al Jammal from GEMS FirstPoint School, who scored A* grades in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry, have set their sights on pursuing Physics at the University of Manchester.

Sarah attributes her success to the challenge and excitement of studying Physics, a subject that she finds both fun and rewarding. Celebrating her achievements with a well-deserved rest and plans with family and friends, Sarah highlights the effort and dedication she put into her studies, especially in the last few months leading up to the exams. She looks ahead with optimism and anticipation, eager to explore the opportunities that lie ahead in her academic journey.

Another standout student, Nikitha Achar from GEMS Founders School, achieved outstanding A* grades in subjects like Fine Art, French, Physics, and Mathematics. With plans to study Architecture at the AA School of Architecture in England, Nikitha expresses gratitude for her teachers and family’s unwavering support throughout her educational journey at GEMS. The supportive environment and assistance from teachers have been instrumental in her preparation and success.

Nikitha’s passion for both art and physics led her to choose architecture as her field of study, as it offers a perfect blend of creativity and technicality. She appreciates the opportunity to express herself through architectural design and looks forward to embarking on this new phase of her academic career. With a strong foundation built on hard work, support, and dedication, Nikitha is excited about the future and the creative possibilities that architecture holds for her.
