Kings United Muscat, a group of talented dancers based in Oman, is gearing up to compete at the World Hip Hop International competition in the United States next week. Consisting of six young talents, the team will take part in the prestigious event from August 4 to 9, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona. This historic opportunity marks their first appearance at the junior level competition at the HHI, also known as the “Olympics of Hip Hop Dance.” Their journey to this global stage has been marked by rigorous training sessions, choreographic innovation, and mental fortitude, under the guidance of their experienced coach Prashant Shinde.

Formed in 2018, Kings United Muscat has grown in skill and reputation over the years, winning numerous regional competitions and earning a spot in the global event through their consistent performance and dedication to the art of hip hop dance. The team’s unique style blends traditional cultural elements with modern hip hop, setting them apart from their competitors. The journey to the World Hip Hop International competition has been supported by a strong backing and generous support from the parents of all the performers, who are involved in their tough practice sessions from 10 am to 11 pm.

With their eyes set on leaving a lasting impression at the competition, Kings United Muscat has been working tirelessly, training seven days a week for the past year. Competing in the Junior division against some of the most elite dance crews in the world, the team is determined to give their best performance on the international stage. The World Hip Hop International competition is known for its high standards and fierce competition, with teams from over 60+ countries converging in Phoenix to compete in various categories.

The team’s coach, Prashant Shinde, who has been a part of multiple HHI editions and won a bronze medal in 2015, has been instrumental in guiding the dancers towards success. Their journey to Phoenix has been a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the growing hip hop culture in Oman. As they prepare to showcase their skills on the global stage, Kings United Muscat carries with them the hopes and dreams of a nation, ready to make their mark on the world.

The World Hip Hop International competition promises to be an unforgettable experience for participants and dance lovers alike, with teams from around the world vying for top honors in various categories.
