Saudi Arabia has officially submitted its bid to host the FIFA World Cup in 2034. The bid was submitted in Paris by a delegation led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal and SAFF President Yasser Al Misehal. The submission of the bid book is a significant milestone for the Kingdom and reflects its commitment to achieving the sports objectives of Vision 2030.

Prince Abdulaziz expressed gratitude to the leadership for their support and stated that the bid is for the future and the youth of Saudi Arabia. The involvement of two young talents in submitting the bid emphasizes the contributions of the youth and their passion for football. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s aspirations to host an exceptional edition of the FIFA World Cup and showcase its love for football.

Yasser Al Misehal highlighted the country’s deep commitment to hosting the tournament and advancing sports and quality of life for the people. The bid campaign aims to create an enduring legacy that will push Saudi Arabia’s transformation to new heights. The next stages of the bid process include official visits by FIFA and a comprehensive evaluation leading up to the selection of the host nation in December 2024.
