Samsung’s adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in its flagship devices has led to a significant increase in sales, particularly with the Galaxy Fold 6, according to Fadi Abu Shamat, senior director at Samsung Gulf Electronics. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Fold 6 have seen a 30% rise compared to last year, highlighting the success of AI integration in the company’s devices. The Galaxy Flip has emerged as a standout product in Samsung’s lineup this year, further bolstering sales.

The incorporation of AI technology began earlier this year with the S24 Series and has since been expanded to include the Flip and Fold series, as well as the latest launches of foldable devices, smartwatches, and earbuds. Abu Shamat noted that Galaxy AI has introduced new tools for creativity and productivity, providing users with innovative features. The recent Galaxy Creators’ Day event in Dubai showcased the capabilities of Samsung’s new devices through various content creators representing different industries.

Samsung aims to push the boundaries of mobile artificial intelligence through its versatile foldable devices, such as the Galaxy Z Series. Leveraging unique form factors, the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip models offer innovative mobile experiences powered by AI. The FlexWindow and FlexMode features of these devices enable users to enhance their workflows and storytelling capabilities, emphasizing the impact of AI in driving user experience and creativity.

Content creators play a significant role in Samsung’s customer base, especially in regions like the UAE where the creative economy is a key focus of diversification strategies. The Dubai Creative Economy Strategy aims to increase the sector’s contribution to the country’s GDP by 2025, highlighting the importance of supporting content creators. Samsung’s efforts to democratize Galaxy devices and streamline content creation processes align with the needs of creators seeking efficiency and speed in their work.

Shafi Alam, head of direct-to-consumer business and corporate marketing at Samsung Gulf Electronics, emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting content creators and simplifying the content creation process. The accessibility and ease of use of Galaxy devices, coupled with AI capabilities, aim to accelerate content creation and empower creators in the long run. Samsung views itself as a central player in the content creation ecosystem, providing tools and resources to enhance storytelling and creativity for users across different industries.

Overall, Samsung’s integration of AI technology in its flagship devices has not only boosted sales but also enhanced user experience and creativity among content creators. The company’s focus on innovation, user empowerment, and strategic partnerships with content creators underscores its commitment to driving the creative economy and shaping the future of mobile technology. With the continued advancement of AI in Galaxy devices, Samsung is poised to play a pivotal role in revolutionizing content creation and storytelling in the digital age.
