The fourth UAE aid ship bound for Gaza arrived at the port of Arish in North Sinai, Egypt, in coordination with Egyptian authorities. The ship set sail from Fujairah on July 8 as part of Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3” to support Palestinians in Gaza. This is the eighth UAE aid shipment to Gaza and the largest in terms of cargo and contents diversity.

The ship carried 5,340 tonnes of relief and food supplies, including food parcels, rice, flour, water, tents, health packages, and relief bags. The supplies were provided by various UAE charitable foundations and transported by 313 trucks to the ship. The arrival of this ship marks a significant step in providing aid to Palestinians in Gaza and fulfilling the UAE’s humanitarian role.

Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent, highlighted the ongoing support of the UAE for Palestinians. He emphasized the importance of this aid shipment, covering various needs of the Palestinian people. As part of Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3,” the UAE has launched initiatives like field hospitals, floating hospitals, bakeries, and desalination plants to aid the people in Gaza.

Operation “Birds of Goodness” was launched by the Joint Operations Command to airdrop humanitarian aid in isolated areas of the northern Gaza Strip. So far, 3,382 tonnes of relief supplies have been delivered to these inaccessible regions. The UAE continues to demonstrate its commitment to helping Palestinians in Gaza amidst challenging circumstances.

The UAE’s aid efforts have been ongoing since the beginning of the crisis faced by Palestinians in Gaza. The directives of President Sheikh Mohamed have guided the country’s humanitarian and relief efforts to provide assistance through various initiatives. The arrival of the aid ship in Gaza signifies the UAE’s continued support for the people in need and its commitment to alleviating their plight.

The diverse range of aid provided by the UAE to Gaza includes essential supplies like food, water, tents, and health packages. These contributions play a crucial role in addressing the urgent needs of Palestinians in Gaza. The UAE’s efforts have been praised by international organizations and demonstrate the country’s dedication to humanitarian causes worldwide.
