The Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, recently made a directive to ensure that government employees who are children of female citizens in the emirate are treated equally. This directive was given to the Sharjah Human Resources Department to ensure that these employees are given the same treatment as any other citizens, regardless of their parentage.

Specifically, the Ruler directed that these government employees should be treated equally in government cadres, regardless of whether they were born before or after their mother obtained Emirati citizenship. This move is a significant step towards promoting equality and ensuring fair treatment for all citizens of Sharjah, regardless of their background or parentage.

The directive was announced during the ‘Direct Line’ programme broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television, indicating the importance and significance of this move by the Ruler. This decision highlights the commitment of the leadership in Sharjah to promoting inclusivity and equality for all citizens, and ensuring that government employees are treated fairly and without discrimination.

This directive by the Ruler of Sharjah is a positive step towards promoting equality and fairness in the treatment of government employees who are children of female citizens in the emirate. By ensuring that these employees are treated equally in government cadres, regardless of their parentage, the leadership in Sharjah is demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities for all citizens.

By directing the Sharjah Human Resources Department to implement this policy, the Ruler is sending a clear message that discriminatory practices will not be tolerated in the emirate. This directive is a reflection of the values and principles of equality and fairness that are important in fostering a cohesive and harmonious society in Sharjah.

Overall, this directive by the Ruler of Sharjah signals a positive move towards promoting equality and inclusivity in the emirate, and ensuring that all citizens are treated with respect and fairness. By upholding these principles, the leadership in Sharjah is setting a strong example for promoting a just and equitable society for all its citizens.
