Qatar Airways has once again made headlines at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024 with the unveiling of the new Qsuite Next Gen. Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, the Group Chief Executive Officer, introduced this ultra-modern version of the award-winning Qsuite business class, setting a new standard for luxury and innovation in the industry. The reveal took place in the presence of esteemed guests, including the Qatari Minister of Transport and the Acting President of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
One of the highlights of the reveal was the introduction of Sama, the World’s First AI Digital Human cabin crew, who engaged the audience in an interactive conversation about the Qsuite Next Gen’s cutting-edge features. Engr. Al-Meer emphasized the new and enhanced aspects of the Qsuite Next Gen, such as fully customizable Quad Suites, Companion Suites in window aisles, and 4K OLED in-flight entertainment screens. He expressed excitement about the future of business class travel with Qatar Airways leading the way.
The Qsuite Next Gen is designed to cater to professionals, friends, and families, offering a mindful work-life balance with revolutionary features. The Quad Suite now features movable 4K OLED screens, allowing for a versatile social and productivity space for up to four passengers. The Companion Suite offers a similar experience, with shared space in window aisles. The redesign focuses on enhancing rest, relaxation, and privacy, while also incorporating new technologies for increased passenger convenience and connectivity.
In addition to the Qsuite Next Gen, Qatar Airways showcased its Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner and Qatar Executive’s Gulfstream G700 at the Farnborough International Airshow. The Boeing 787-9 features the Adient Ascent Business Class Suite, while the Gulfstream G700 offers a spacious passenger cabin with luxurious amenities. Qatar Executive has expanded its fleet with several Gulfstream G700 aircraft, prioritizing excellence in every aspect of its products and services.
